Collection: Weft Extensions, Remy

Our Remy hair is valued because its cuticles stay aligned, reducing tangling and giving a smooth, natural appearance. However, it’s not considered true premium hair since it often comes from multiple donors, may be chemically processed, and isn’t always virgin or long-lasting.

Weft hair extensions are rows (tracks) of hair sewn or bonded together at the top, creating a continuous strip called a weft. They’re applied by attaching the weft to the natural hair using sewing, beads, or other non-adhesive methods, depending on the technique.

How They’re Installed

Common methods include:

  • Sew-in / Beaded row: Natural hair is sectioned, beads are added, and the weft is sewn onto the row
  • Hand-tied method: Ultra-thin wefts sewn onto a beaded foundation
  • Machine weft: Thicker, durable wefts sewn for volume and length

✔ No heat (in most methods)
✔ No glue
✔ Secure, long-lasting attachment

Types of Wefts

  • Hand-Tied Wefts: Very thin, lightweight, premium (must not be cut)
  • Machine Wefts: Thicker, more durable, can be cut
  • Genius / Invisible Wefts: Hybrid—thin like hand-tied but cuttable
